R. Jayalakshmi, M.Tech, is the Founder and Director of Joy Phonics Academy and the driving force behind its vision and success. With a strong academic background and a teaching career that began in 2012, she has dedicated her life to transforming early literacy education.
Inspired by the internationally recognised Jolly Phonics methodology, Jayalakshmi identified the limitations of traditional rote learning and sought a more effective, child-friendly approach. Her passion for phonics led her to begin her professional phonics training journey in 2019.
Over the years, she has trained:

Jayalakshmi is a certified Professional Phonics Trainer and also holds certifications in:
- Grammar
- Spoken English
- Handwriting
